This provides a presentation and demonstration tool.
Presentation Pointer is a demonstration tool that helps you get straight to the point. It lets you provide visual attention grab markers and pointers as well as annotations on top of whatever you are presenting on the screen. It provides visual cues about specific areas of the screen where you are trying to emphasize a point. When activated, Presentation Pointer puts a "spotlight" around your cursor. It also dims the surrounding area, so that focus is on the spot you are moving your cursor about. Audience attention thus can be in the exact area you want them to focus on. As a further aid to enhance the effectiveness of the demo, the key strokes are displayed at the bottom of the screen. Your audience will be clued in to what exactly did you do and also produce audio clicks for every mouse click made.
The left or the right mouse clicks can be arranged to change the color of the spotlight to clearly show what button was pressed. As an aid to keep the discussion really free flowing you are allowed to make annotations as you would, with the older overhead projectors. This would not lock up the slide show. The annotations are as if in a separate layer. The effects produced are quite remarkable, particularly the spotlight. Annotations are good too. What is good about the tool is that you do not need much time to figure out the controls. If you do a lot of presentations, this is a tool worth keeping with you.
